　本书收录了刑科院建院十年以来七届已通过答辩的88篇刑法学、刑事诉讼法学博士学位论文之精华。这些博士学位论文在选题和内容上密切联系我国社会主义刑事法治建设的实际，或者对以往理论研究中尚未研究或者研究不够深入的课题展开探索性研究，或者对现有研究课题从新的视角和方法进行研究，得出新的结论，或者对理论和实践中的热点问题，对之做进一步的论证、补充和完善，使之更加深化、确切和更有说服力。
