薛虹，教授、博士生导师。专门研究知识产权法、信息技术法、争端解决及互联网政策与法律。多次连任国际知识产权教学与研究促进会亚洲地区唯一执委，世界知识产权组织任命的域名争端解决程序中国两专家之一，国际互联网管理机构总裁咨询委员会委员，亚太互联网用户组织的创始人之一。被中国法学会选为全国十大杰出青年法学家。任耶鲁大学法学院知识产权法研究员。在香港大学任教多年，荣获香港大学杰出青年研究奖，作为指导教师带领香港大学代表队夺得首届亚洲模拟法庭大赛冠军。出访四十多个国家和地区，与二十多个全球知名的大学、研究机构和国际组织定期进行学术交流。有多部中、英文专著在国内外出版。
